A person whose hand was stuck in the blades of a dicing machine at a commercial building in Pomona Friday was freed by firefighters and hospitalized.
Firefighters and paramedics were sent to the 2700 block of North Towne Avenue about 11:35 a.m., according to the county fire department.
The person’s hand was freed in about 15 minutes. The machine was used for dicing onions, the fire department reported.
The circumstances of the injury were under investigation.
