One person was injured Tuesday when their wrist got caught in a machine in Gardena.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department learned of the predicament just before 7:45 a.m. When firefighters arrived at the 1638 West 135th St. address at 7:50 a.m., they found the person’s wrist had become trapped, according to department spokesman Marvin Lim.

Crews freed the person within 10 minutes and the patient was transported to hospital by 8:01 a.m.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating the incident, authorities said.
