A car went over a roadside Wednesday in the Angeles National Forest, and at least one occupant was airlifted to a trauma center.
The crash occurred about 4:30 p.m. near Big Tujunga Canyon Road and Doske Road, in Tujunga, according to Supervisor Imy McBride of the Los Angeles County Fire Department. It was not immediately clear how far the car fell.
Air crews conducted a hoist rescue to retrieve two people. One patient was taken to a trauma center by the sheriff’s department’s Air Rescue 5.
It was not immediately clear how many patients were taken to a hospital, but the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department sent two helicopters to the scene, according to McBride.
