Authorities Tuesday identified a motorist who was killed when two trucks collided at an intersection in Lancaster last weekend.

Dylan Waters, 28, of Palmdale died at the scene of the crash that occurred about 5:40 p.m. Sunday at Avenue H and 90th Street East, according to the coroner’s office.

According to the California Highway Patrol, Waters was northbound on 90th Street east when his truck collided with an eastbound truck whose driver was hospitalized with moderate injuries.

The 34-year-old Glendale man’s passenger — a 31-year-old Tujunga man — was hospitalized with major injuries, the CHP reported. Their names were not released.

Neither alcohol nor drugs were believed to have been involved in the crash, the CHP reported.
