A 77-year-old woman who is missing from South Los Angeles suffers from multiple serious health conditions, including congestive heart failure and kidney failure, authorities said Thursday.

Dorothy Trotter was last seen about 12:25 p.m. Wednesday in the 9400 block of Zamora Avenue in the Florence-Firestone area, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

In addition to congestive heart failure and kidney failure, she suffers from dementia, schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, according to the sheriff’s department.

Trotter is described as Black, 5 feet, 6 inches tall and 190 pounds, with brown eyes and dark braided hair. She was wearing a gray shirt that said “Over It,” gray shorts, blue sandals and glasses.

Authorities circulated a photo of Trotter and urged anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact the sheriff’s Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500. Those wishing to report anonymously can call 800-222-TIPS.
