Seven people were injured, three critically, in a two-vehicle crash in the Florence area of South Los Angeles Wednesday evening.
The crash occurred about 6:50 p.m. in the 500 block of East Gage Avenue, near South Avalon Boulevard, according to Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Paramedics had to triage the seven patients to get those with the most critical injuries to a hospital first, Prange said. Three were critically injured and four were “in fair condition.”
None of the patients were trapped in the vehicles, and the crash did not ignite a fire, according to Prange.
