A California Highway Patrol officer on a motorcycle was injured Monday evening in a collision with a pickup truck in the unincorporated Northwest Palmdale area.

The crash occurred about 7:10 p.m. near the intersection of 32nd Street West and West Avenue N 3, according to CHP Officer Tony Polizzi.

The officer was taken to a hospital in unknown condition, Polizzi said.
