A collision between a semi truck and a Metro bus that was empty of passengers left two people injured Tuesday.
The head-on crash was reported shortly after 8 a.m. on Glenoaks Boulevard near Branford Street, said the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Brian Humphrey.
The Metro Line 794 bus had no passengers on board, according to a Metro spokesman, who said the bus driver was taken to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
It was unclear whether the other person taken to a hospital with injuries of unknown severity was the driver of the truck or a passenger.
A small, non-hazardous leak from the truck was quickly contained, Humphrey noted.
