Authorities Monday identified a 24-year-old woman who was killed in a single-vehicle crash on the Antelope Valley (14) Freeway in Santa Clarita.

The crash occurred at 2:23 a.m. Sunday on the southbound 14 at Sand Canyon Road, the California Highway Patrol reported.

Los Angeles resident Melanie Flores died at the scene, the Los Angeles County coroner’s office reported.

The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
