The Sheriff’s Department circulated a photo of a 47-year-old woman last seen in South Gate more than two months ago.

Lorena Trudy Cruz was in the area of Firestone Boulevard and Alameda Street when she was last spotted about noon on Dec. 16.

She’s described as 5 feet, 3 inches tall and 100 pounds, with brown hair and eyes and tattoos on her right arm, neck and head.

“She is known to live a transient lifestyle in the South Gate and Firestone area,” according to a sheriff’s department statement. “Ms. Cruz'[s] family have not seen or heard from her. They are very concerned and asking for the public’s help.”

Deputies asked anyone with information on Cruz’s whereabouts to call the department’s missing persons unit at 323-890-5500.
