A person was killed in a two-vehicle crash Sunday in South Los Angeles.

Another person suffered critical injuries and a third person suffered minor injuries during the crash in the 8800 block of South Central Avenue, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.

Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched to the crash scene at 9:01 a.m., the department’s Margaret Stewart said.

“Firefighters will conduct a body recovery extrication,” Stewart said.

According to sources at the scene, the critically injured patient was a 60-year-old man and the minor injuries were suffered by a woman, approximately 30 years old.
