A man was killed in a single-vehicle crash Sunday morning on the San Diego (405) Freeway, on the outskirts of Encino.
It occurred about 2:45 a.m. on the northbound freeway at Mulholland Drive, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The crash involved a gray or black sedan that was discovered on the right shoulder of the freeway, in a dirt area, the CHP said, adding the fatality was a man, approximately 30 years old.
A representative from the coroner’s office was called to the scene at 3:40 a.m.
