“Helping Americans realize their own American dreams through homeownership is important, and we’re extremely proud to support HomeAid America in its mission to build new lives for America’s homeless families and individuals,” said David Norris, president and chief operating officer of loanDepot LLC.
Peter Simons, chief executive officer of HomeAid America, said loanDepot’s donation “will help HomeAid expand its reach to help more homeless families and individuals find a place to live and thereby reclaim their self- sufficiency.”
“loanDepot’s ongoing support through their imortgage division has been instrumental to HomeAid for years,” Simons said.”Dan Hanson, executive vice president at imortgage, has been a valuable member of our Board of Directors for more than 26 years. He is an original founder of HomeAid and has helped it grow from a local grassroots organization into a thriving national entity across the country.”
HomeAid, a building industry-based charity with 16 chapters in 11 states, says it has built more than 400 multi-unit housing projects in its 26- year history and helped house more than 220,000 previously homeless Americans.
loanDepot, which has dual headquarters in Orange County’s Foothill Ranch and Plano, Texas, was launched in 2010 and offers mortgage and non-mortgage lending products in all 50 states, operating under the brand names loanDepot.com, imortgage, Mortgage Master and LDWholesale.
