A man who was a youth counselor for an Anaheim church was arrested Friday on an indictment charging him with using peer-to-peer file-sharing technology to obtain and distribute child pornography.
Todd Christian Hartman, 32, of Newport Beach, was once a youth counselor for the Vineyard Church in Anaheim, according to Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
In an indictment handed down Wednesday, Hartman was charged with one count of possession of child pornography and two counts involving the distribution of child pornography.
In a search warrant executed at Hartman’s home in February, investigators seized more than 400 videos and more than 300 pictures of child pornography, according to ICE. Some of the videos included children as young as 8 years old, ICE alleged.
