A 3-year-old girl fell from a fifth-story inner courtyard walkway at a hotel in Anaheim, and was killed, a police lieutenant said Sunday.
Paramedics rushed the child from Embassy Suites, 3100 E. Frontera Street, to UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange. She was pronounced dead at 7:55 p.m. Saturday, according to the Coroner’s Office.
Police were dispatched to the hotel at about 6:30 p.m. on a report that a child had fallen from an upper floor, said Anaheim police Lt. Eric Trapp.
When paramedics arrived they located the child suffering from a severe injury, Trapp said.
The little girl was in town with family from Las Vegas, and her name of the child was not released until all family members were notified, according to the Coroner’s Office.
