The victim was critically wounded in the shooting at about 10:15 p.m. Friday in an alley in the 1600 block of West Dudley Avenue, according to Anaheim Police Sgt. Daron Wyatt.
He was shot during a confrontation with four males and suffered wounds to his abdomen and hand, Wyatt said.
After being shot, the man got into his car and drove in reverse until he collided with another vehicle, Wyatt said. He then ran into an apartment complex and police were called, according to the sergeant.
The man was taken to a hospital, but an update on his condition was not available Saturday afternoon, nor were descriptions of the suspects or a possible motive for the shooting, although Wyatt said it was being investigated as gang- related.
