A license plate number obtained through surveillance video led Fullerton Police officers to two car burglary suspects in nearby Anaheim, authorities said.
Officers responded to a report of a vehicle burglary and stolen vehicle Sunday at 150 West Santa Fe Ave., police said.
The license plate number discovered on security video led them to an Anaheim address where they spotted both the suspect’s vehicle and a stolen vehicle, according to police.
Carlos Ramirez, 25, and Jacqueline Chavez, 23, were arrested at the Anaheim residence on suspicion of auto theft, vehicle burglary and conspiracy, police said.
A search of the residence revealed property belonging to numerous victims in Orange and Los Angeles counties, they said.
Ramirez was in custody in the Orange County Central Men’s Jail and Chavez was in the Women’s Intake Release Center.
Bail for both was set at $20,000 and they were scheduled to appear in court Wednesday.
Anyone with information for investigators was asked to call Fullerton Detective B. Fernandes at (714) 738-6821.
