A 40-year-old Anaheim man pleaded guilty mid-trial to sexually assaulting four female underage relatives, according to court records obtained Thursday.
Wilian Rene Guerra’s trial was underway Tuesday when he decided to plead guilty to five counts of lewd or lascivious acts with a minor younger than 14. He also admitted sentencing enhancement allegations of assaulting more than one victim and substantial sexual conduct.
According to the guilty plea form he signed, he faces up to 225 years to life in prison when he is scheduled to be sentenced Oct. 6.
One girl was sexually assaulted five times from August of 2010 through August of 2015, according to court records. She was younger than 14 at the time.
Another girl was sexually assaulted when she was 11 or younger from October of 2009 through April of last year, according to the plea deal.
Another girl was sexually assaulted August of 2013 through May of last year at least twice when she was 7 years old, according to court records.
The fourth girl was sexually assaulted when she was 6 and younger at least twice between February of 2014 and May of last year.
