Police Sunday hunted the killer of a 17-year-old youth who was stabbed to death during a gang- related fight in Santa Ana.
Officers asked any witnesses to the street fight to contact them.
The deadly fight took place at 9:50 p.m. Friday, in the area of Cubbon and Baker streets, according to police. Then another call about a man down in the 1100 West Brook Street area came into police.
Officers responded and found a young man down on the sidewalk suffering from stab wounds to his upper chest. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:08, according to police.
The dead youth’s name was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
