A man is fighting for his life Saturday after he was gunned down in a Santa Ana alley in what police suspect was a gang-related shooting.
Officers were dispatched to a report of shots being fired in an alley near the 1200 block of South Pacific Avenue at 10:20 p.m. Friday, said Santa Ana police Sgt. Jason Garcia.
Arriving officers found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper body, Garcia said.
The man was taken to a hospital where he was in grave condition early Saturday morning, according to Garcia.
