The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose three-tenths of a cent Thursday to $3.582, its highest amount since Aug. 29, 2015.

The average price is six-tenths of a cent more than one week ago, 13.1 cents higher than one month ago and 54.5 cents greater than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has risen 43.2 cents since the start of the year.

The Orange County average price rose three-tenths of a cent to $3.55, one day after increasing nine-tenths of a cent. It is at its highest amount since Aug. 27, 2015 and 1.5 cents more than one week ago, 13.1 cents higher than one month ago and 53 cents greater than one year ago. It has risen 43.4 cents since the start of the year.
