The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose six-tenths of a cent Tuesday to $3.639, its highest amount since Aug. 26, 2015.

The average price has increased 13 of the past 14 days, rising 6.1 cents, including three-tenths of a cent on Monday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 3.7 cents more than one week ago, 10.2 cents higher than one month ago and 59.6 cents greater than one year ago. It has risen 48.9 cents since the start of the year.

The Orange County average price rose a half-cent Tuesday to $3.601, its highest amount since Aug. 25, 2015.

The Orange County average price has increased 13 of the past 14 days, rising 6.3 cents, including one-tenth of a cent on Monday.

The Orange County average price is 3.2 cents more than one week ago, 10.5 cents higher than one month ago and 57.3 cents greater than one year ago. It has risen 48.5 cents since the start of the year.
