An investigation was underway Friday to determine the cause of a Santa Ana house fire that injured a firefighter and caused $900,000 in damage.
The fire at the two-story home in the 300 block of Orion Avenue was reported at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and was extinguished just before 11 p.m., the Orange County Fire Authority reported.
Structural and contents damage was estimated at $750,000 and $150,000, respectively, according to Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Ben Gonzales.
One firefighter was hospitalized with an undisclosed injury, but was listed in good condition, Gonzales said. It was not clear if he hds been released from the hospital as of Friday morning, Gonzales said.
