A person had to be airlifted to a hospital from a hard-to-reach spot in the Joshua Tree National Park Saturday after an off-road vehicle rollover crash.
The crash occurred just before 2 p.m. on Geology Tour Road in a remote area on the western side of the national park, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
One person suffered major injures while three others suffered minor injuries, fire officials said.
A California Highway Patrol helicopter flew the person with major injuries to a hospital.
No further details about the crash were provided.
