An SUV overturned Wednesday on a road north of Moreno Valley and ended up in a ditch, but the two teenage occupants escaped serious injury.
The solo crash was reported at 4:20 p.m. on Redlands Boulevard, near San Timoteo Canyon Road, according to the California Highway Patrol. The Chevrolet Tahoe rolled at least once before coming to rest upside-down in the ditch.
The teens, whose names were not released, extricated themselves from the SUV, according to reports from the scene.
Riverside County Fire Department personnel reached the location within a few minutes and evaluated the driver and passenger, who were treated by paramedics for unspecified minor injuries.
The two-lane corridor remained open while the CHP investigated the crash and arranged for the SUV to be towed away.
