Two people were injured when a vehicle drove off Interstate 10 and crashed in Banning Saturday.
The accident happened around noon on the eastbound side of the freeway near Ramsey Street, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Fire officials said the vehicle ended up off the roadway near the railroad tracks south of I-10. One person had to be cut out of the wreckage by emergency crews and was hospitalized with moderate injuries, authorities said.
A second person was taken to the hospital with minor injures.
