At least one person suffered major injuries when a vehicle ran off a road and crashed into a power pole in an unincorporated area north of Beaumont Sunday.
The crash was reported at 8:40 a.m. Sunday at Woodhouse and San Timoteo Canyon roads, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP said the vehicle landed in a ditch after leaving the roadway and smashing into a power pole.
One person was taken to Loma Linda University Medical Center with major injuries. It was unclear if anyone else was injured.
Details about what led to the crash were not immediately available.
Southern California Edison crews were dispatched to the location to repair the downed power pole.
