A fire that broke out Saturday in a motorhome parked on a Jurupa Valley street caused major damage to the vehicle and left one person with minor injuries.
The blaze erupted at about 10 a.m. within the RV, which was located near the intersection of Fleetwood Drive and Via Ricardo, just northeast of the Pomona (60) Freeway, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The agency said multiple engine crews were sent to the location and found the motorhome “well involved with fire.”
Firefighters knocked the flames down roughly 30 minutes later.
According to officials, a man at the scene complained of a minor injury, but there were no specific details. He was taken to Riverside Community Hospital for treatment.
It was not immediately clear how the fire started.
