Metrolink will provide special train service following American League Division Series games at Angel Stadium, beginning Thursday night.
A southbound train bound for Oceanside will leave from Anaheim at 10:09 p.m. or 30 minutes after the conclusion of the game, whichever is later. A northbound train bound for Union Station will leave 30 minutes after the end of the game.
Regular northbound Orange County Line service on Trains 609 and 689 is available to take fans to Game 1 of the best-of-five series between the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and Kansas City Royals
Train 609 is scheduled to leave from Oceanside at 3:26 p.m., with stops at San Clemente (3:49 p.m.); San Juan Capistrano (3:59 p.m.); Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo (4:10 p.m.); Irvine (4:19 p.m.); Tustin (4:27 p.m.); Santa Ana (4:32 p.m.); and Orange (4:37 p.m.). The train is scheduled to arrive in Anaheim at 4:41 p.m.
Train 689 is scheduled to leave from Irvine at 5:10 p.m., with stops at Tustin (5:17 p.m.); Santa Ana (5:22 p.m.); and Orange (5:27 p.m.). The train is scheduled to arrive in Anaheim at 5:31 p.m.
Regular southbound service to the game will be provided by Trains 604 and 688.
Train 604 is scheduled to leave from Union Station at 4:30 p.m., with stops at Commerce (4:44 p.m.); Norwalk/Santa Fe Springs (4:54 p.m.); Buena Park (5 p.m.) and Fullerton (5:07 p.m.) The train is scheduled to arrive in Anaheim at 5:16 p.m.
Train 688 is scheduled to leave from Union Station at 4:50 p.m., with stops at Norwalk/Santa Fe Springs (5:11 p.m.); Buena Park (5:17 p.m.) and Fullerton (5:24 p.m.) The train is scheduled to arrive in Anaheim at 5:33 p.m.
Roundtrip tickets are $7 for the general public, $6 for seniors and $4 for youths ages 6 to 18. Children ages 5 and under ride free with a paying adult, with a limit of three per adult fare. Tickets may be purchased at Metrolink station ticket vending machines by selecting “Special Ticket Options.”
Riders are advised to arrive at least 30 minutes before the train departure time to purchase Angels Express tickets.
Thursday night’s game is scheduled to begin at 6:07 p.m., while Game 2 Friday is set to begin at 6:37 p.m.
