Police are investigating a burglary at the Tarzana home of former Los Angeles Laker guard Derek Fisher, in which more than $300,000 worth of jewelry was taken.

The crime occurred some time between 7:30 and 10:30 a.m. at Fisher’s residence in the 5800 block of Shirley Avenue, said Los Angeles police Officer Drake Madison.

No one was home Monday at the time of the burglary, Madison said.

Fisher played 18 seasons in the NBA, the majority of them with the Lakers, with whom he won five championships.

Madison said the LAPD could not confirm a TMZ.com report that all five of Fisher’s championship rings were stolen during the break-in.
