The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation will contribute the proceeds from Wednesday’s in-game 50/50 raffle in support of the Houston Food Bank.
Players’ wives and girlfriends and former Dodger players will sell raffle tickets throughout Dodger Stadium through the end of the sixth inning of the game against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Half the jackpot will go the winner, while the remaining 50 percent will go to the Houston Food Bank.
Dodger players will show support for those affected by Hurricane Harvey by wearing special Houston Strong batting practice T-shirts.
The Dodgers donated $100,000 to the Houston Food Bank and contributed 5,000 fleece blankets to the Dream Center in Texas Friday to be distributed to flood victims.
