Chargers host clinics for youth halftime performers

The first of a series of three group clinics conducted by the Charger Girls for girls ages 7 to 15 to prepare them to perform at halftime at a Los Angeles Chargers games will be held Saturday at Costa Mesa High School.

The non-refundable fee for clinics is $175. It is due at time of registration and covers all expenses and includes membership in the Junior Charger Girls.

The clinics will teach dance routines and prepare girls of all talent levels — from beginner to advanced — to perform at halftime of the Dec. 10 game against Washington at StubHub Center.

All Junior Charger Girls will also receive an autographed Charger Girls team photo, halftime show uniform, pompoms, commemorative T-shirt and ticket for the Dec. 10 game.

All participants are asked to raise a minimum of $175 in sponsor pledges, with money raised supporting Make-A-Wish Foundation’s effort to help grant the wish of every child diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition, in connection with the Charger Girls commitment to philanthropy.
