The U.S. men’s national soccer team will begin play in 2018 by facing Bosnia and Herzegovinan in an exhibition at StubHub Center Jan. 28, U.S. Soccer announced Monday.
The U.S. is expected to field a predominantly young team of U.S.-based players who will be participating at the annual January camp at the U.S. Soccer National Training Center in Carson.
The U.S. is ranked 27th by FIFA, soccer’s international governing body, 13 spots ahead of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Both teams failed to qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
