The Los Angeles Kings will hold “Star Wars” Night during Saturday night’s game against the Carolina Hurricanes, with more than 40 characters from the film franchise in attendance at Staples Center to pose for pictures with fans.

All fans in attendance will receive a Kings and “Star Wars” co- branded beanie.

There will be a silent auction of autographed Kings “Star Wars” storm trooper jerseys. Proceeds will benefit the Kings Care Foundation, the team’s charity which promotes health, education and recreation projects. Bids can be made at lakings.com/auction.

The game is also the third in the Kings four-game toy drive. Unwrapped toys can be dropped off at any entrance to Staples Center from two hours before the game until its start.

The toys will be given to After School All Stars, Children’s Burn Foundation, Homeboy Industries, LA Family Housing and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, according to Shaunna Campbell, the foundation’s supervisor.

Donors will receive a one raffle ticket per toy for a drawing for Kings- signed memorabilia.

The toy drive will conclude Dec. 21.
