
A watch party for NBC’s telecast of the Olympic men’s free skate will be held Friday at The Rinks-Lakewood Ice where U.S. skaters Nathan Chen and Adam Rippon train.
The party will be held from 5-9:30 p.m. and will include a free skating session from 5:30-6:30 p.m., along with hot chocolate and snacks.
The event is free to the public and includes a skate rental if needed. More information is available on the rink’s website, lakewoodice.com.
Rippon is seventh entering the free skate and Chen a disappointing 17th. A third skater who trains at The Rinks-Lakewood Ice, Michal Brezina of the Czech Republic, is ninth. Defending champion Yuzuru Hanyu of Japan leads.
