Seal Beach police released surveillance video and photos Wednesday of a suspect in the theft of a minivan in the hopes it would generate leads for an arrest.

The suspect stolen a blue 2002 Toyota Sienna in the 100 block of 11th Street about 10 a.m. Sept. 10 and eventually dumped it in a Pavilions parking lot after taking the victim’s belongings from the vehicle, according to Seal Beach police.

The suspect is a white man in his mid to late 20s, wearing a red Chicago Bulls hat, black shirt and black shorts.

Anyone who may know the suspect was asked to call Seal Beach Detective Chris Hendrix at (562) 799-4100, ext. 1109.
