The accident occurred at 1:45 a.m. in the 8200 block of North San Fernando Road, said Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

One patient, whose age and gender were not immediately available, was taken to a hospital in critical condition, Stewart said. A 25-year-old man and a 32-year-old man were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and a fourth patient declined to be transported.
