A tractor-trailer caught fire Wednesday on the west end of Nuevo, consuming the trailer before crews contained it.
The non-injury blaze was reported shortly before 4 p.m. in the 26000 block of Emerett Lane, in the Nuevo Hills area, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Firefighters prevented the blaze from spreading to surrounding properties and completely contained it less than 30 minutes later.
The cause was under investigation.
