Crews doused a non-injury fire at a vacant building in Lake Balboa Friday afternoon.
The fire was reported at 12:55 p.m. in the 8100 block of North Louise Avenue, according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
A total of 46 firefighters responded and knocked down the blaze in 29 minutes, containing the flames to the structure and some nearby vegetation, Stewart said.
“The additional exposed homes were defended from damage,” she added.
