A vehicle fire spread into a small amount of vegetation Friday along southbound Interstate 215 in Riverside before it was stopped.
The non-injury blaze was reported shortly before 11:30 a.m. Friday near Cactus Avenue, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The agency said crews arrived at the scene and encountered a 10-by-20 spot of vegetation fire, which was contained around 20 minutes later.
It was unclear what caused the vehicle to catch fire.
