Police Thursday hunted the attacker who shot and wounded a 20-year-old man near an Irvine apartment complex.
Few details were yet available about the shooting, including a possible motive.
The shooting was reported around 10 p.m. Wednesday at 1 Monroe, said Capt. Larry Kurtz of the Orange County Fire Authority.
The victim suffered a single gunshot wound that was deemed not to be life- threatening, Kurtz said. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Kurtz said Irvine police officers were canvassing the area but details of the shooting were not immediately available.
