One person was killed in a crash involving a big rig on the 10 Freeway between Desert Center and Blythe, authorities said Monday.
The big rig was on its side at 10:51 p.m. Sunday and Riverside County firefighters used hydraulic tools to free one patient from wreckage, fire officials said.
That patient died at the scene, fire officials said.
Crash details were not immediately available.
