
One person was killed Thursday morning in a two-vehicle crash on the westbound Ventura (101) Freeway in Woodland Hills and three lanes of the freeway were closed.
The crash occurred about 5 a.m. near the De Soto Avenue exit and involved a Nissan SUV and a Toyota, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Details of what caused the crash or how the person died were not immediately available.
The Nos. 1, 2 and 3 lanes of the freeway were closed until at least 9 a.m., the CHP said.
