
A man and three women were arrested when a search warrant was served at a Westminster residence the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Wednesday called “a key manufacturing and distribution point for edible marijuana products and other narcotics.”
More than 200 pounds of edible marijuana pastries and candies as well as several hundred mature marijuana plants, numerous pieces of commercial baking equipment and other illegal narcotics were seized, according to a statement issued by the sheriff’s Carson Station.
The edible marijuana products and other narcotics manufactured in Westminster “were being illegally sold in the city of Carson and possibly other locations throughout Los Angeles and Orange counties,” the statement said.
Violettte Negrete, 22, Lynette Medina, 38, Stephen Olsen, 50, and Megan Dyer, 27, a resident of Georgia, were taken into custody Tuesday following a lengthy investigation.
The four suspects were booked at the sheriff’s Carson Station and the bail for each was set at $100,000.
