Detectives were circulating a photo of a missing 60-year-old man and asked for public help Friday to find him.
Andre Anthony Byrd was last seen about noon on Dec. 1 near his residence near 107th Street and Western Avenue, in an unincorporated area bordering South Los Angeles, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Byrd is black, 6-feet tall and 180 pounds, with black/gray hair, brown eyes, a goatee and glasses.
He was believed to be driving an olive green 2007 Hyundai Azera 4-door car with California license plate 6EBJ555.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts was asked to contact the sheriff’s Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500 or 911. Tipsters can also call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.
