Police Tuesday were searching for an assailant who stabbed a man in the stomach and a leg outside a Mission Valley hotel.
Officers responded around 9:30 p.m. Monday to the parking lot of the Days Inn at 543 Hotel Circle South and found the injured man, who had been stabbed with a small knife, according to San Diego police.
The victim, believed to be in his 30s, was taken to a hospital for treatment of his wounds, SDPD public-affairs Officer Billy Hernandez said. An update on the man’s condition was not immediately available.
The suspect was described as black, 5-foot-7 and weighing around 130 pounds, with black hair and black eyes. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black sweatpants and white shoes.
