A 42-year-old woman who suffers from schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and diabetes went missing in Rowland Heights, and the sheriff’s department Tuesday circulated her photo in hopes that someone will spot her and notify authorities.

Cruz Castellanos was last seen Monday about 10 a.m. in the 19100 block of Aldora Drive, near the Nogales Street exit of the Pomona (60) Freeway, according to Deputy Trina Schrader of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau. She was wearing an orange-yellow shirt, blue jeans and a green jacket.

Castellanos is described as Hispanic, 5 feet, 5 inches tall and 190 pounds, with brown hair, brown eyes and white-framed glasses, Schrader said.

Authorities encouraged anyone with information about Castellanos to contact the sheriff’s Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500. Those wishing to report anonymously can call 800-222-TIPS.
