A small earthquake struck near Cabazon Wednesday evening.
The 2.8 magnitude quake hit about 4 miles south of Cabazon at 8:11 p.m., according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
There were no reports of damage or injuries, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
