A vehicle overturned and caught fire Saturday after colliding with another vehicle in a Lancaster intersection, setting nearby grass aflame.
The crash was reported just before 7 p.m. at Highway 138 (Avenue D) and 60th Street West, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The overturned vehicle became fully engulfed in flames, which spread into a quarter-acre of grass, the CHP said.
Los Angeles County firefighters were responding on the ground and in the air, fire officials said.
