Fifteen vehicles were towed and a motorist was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving during an overnight driver license/sobriety checkpoint in Pomona, police said Saturday.
The Pomona Police Department reported that 46 drivers were cited or arrested for operating a vehicle unlicensed or with a suspended/revoked license during the checkpoint at Holt Avenue and Hershey Street from 9 p.m. Friday to 3 a.m. Saturday.
The department said checkpoints are placed in locations based on collision statistics and frequency of DUI arrests.
